Please Vote!

By now many of our family and friends are probably sick of me spamming their Facebook walls and inbox's with requests to vote for our sons video.  I submitted this video last month for the chance at being a finalist and for our family to win a vacation.  I honestly did NOT think that we would actually be chosen!  Ryan's video "GigglePants" was 1 of 5 videos chosen in the "Laughing" category.  I could not believe it when I got the email saying that we were picked.  So now I have been begging family and friends to go to the Nuk Facebook page and vote for our video.  It doesn't take much time, and just think, your one vote a day could land us in the Bahamas at the Atlantis resort!  Ryan and Violet would love it!

Here are the details....

Please help us win a trip to the Bahamas for our family. You can vote once a day per Facebook account! Thank you to everyone who has voted and continues to vote! Make sure to "like" the Nuk page and then you will be able to vote. Look for Ryan (Jason G) in the laughing category. Thanks again!

The voting ends on Jan 11th.  I will stop bugging you on the 12th.

Thank you so much for your votes!

PS..  Be sure to share the links so that your family and friends can also vote for us!

Schooled

As many of you know I have been going back to school for my IT-Networking degree from MSTC in Stevens Point.  I am in my 3rd semester.  I have 2 semesters left.  I will be doing another full time semester this next spring.  I did full time last spring and it was rough.  Hopefully it won't kill me like last semester did.  The plan is that I will graduate next December.  There have been some rough spots, but I made it through.  I am looking forward to finishing up this semester and getting started with the next one.  I will hopefully be doing my internship soon and I am excited to get some on the job experience. I am also looking forward to getting done with the semester so that I have more time to do work on the house.  We plan on doing most of the work on the back bedroom the first/second weekend in January, when I am on winter break.  And then the plan is to work on the bathroom over spring break. Post Op

First of all thank you to everyone that prayed for us last week while Darlene had her surgery.  Everything went great.  Darlene is doing well.  Still a little sore sometimes, but hopefully on the fast track of recovering!  Last time it was arthroscopic procedure.  This time it was actually an incision.  So there is more healing time needed now. The hardest thing now is Darlene being around the kids when she can't pick them up for a few weeks yet.  It is killing her that she can't pick up an hold her babies.  She does as much as she can, bathing, changing, feeding.  So she is at least getting some good time with them.  But it isn't the same.  She plans on being able to persuade the Dr. when she goes in for her check up to ease up on the lifting restrictions.  Nothing over 10lbs currently.  Violet is at 15lbs and Ryan at 18lbs!  They get so big, so fast.
